Come on girls... I know you have something to add to this thread.... is it a "should" or "shouldn't" ????

For me it's a must.
I love mine so much.
Light, small, easy to use, not that expensive.
I love being able to make my own minis and bind them instead of using those loose leaf rings.

if i didn't worry about binding myself to the paper or throwing it out the window, might have to get one. convince me.

Well...um...I'm still working on my project. I'll get back to you.

It punches real nice though, I can tell you that. Wink

Bind it all. Have one. Used it. It bit me. I threw it out the window. Fetched it. Tried again. Like it. Will use it again.

With saying that...if I was more of a mini-book person, I would get more use out of it and it would be a necessity. It definitely punches and binds well. Takes a little time to learn. If you strictly do only layouts, you don't need this little bugger.

That's my issue.... I'm not a mini-book person so I definitely wouldn't get enough use out of it. I would like to be more of a mini book person but just never seem to go there!
I have a roll-a-bind and I remember buying all the discs in different sizes and colors.... I found the punching tool the other day but I have no clue where the discs are... LOL

i think i have become more of a minibook person than a LO person, but i have these minis that i've started and haven't finished.... i think if i had a BIA, i'd be super tempted to just punch and bind minis all day long and never actually finish one. i'm bad.

I have one. I love it. I have used it for minis, but I have also used it to make calendars. You can bind together whatever you want. You can make bigger books too. not just minis. I have started to use it more and get more practice. I now want to get the dreamcutz. It is a new papercutter by the people that make the bind-it-all. flower

I have to say the bind it all is very tempting, it is easy peesy to use (if shown how to use by a charming and capable person that is). Tell us more about the dreamkutz...

I am starting to get into mini books.

I used not to alter or make mini book albums, but lately I have been.

That is why I am up so late tonight because I am trying to finish a mini book.

Mia, no need to duck and run. Mine should be in the box still to keep the dust from settling too deep into the crevices. Received it for Christmas last year and I have used it twice. The first time it bit me and wouldn't let go. Sad and true.

I do a lot of acrylics, but end up just using the rings that come with the albums. But the BIA does work very nicely with the acrylics.

I just bought some acrylic sheets and hadn't thought of using the BIA on it. Thanks for the heads up. Very Happy

Diana, I'm the same as you - I've become more of a mini person than a layout person. Well, I'm not mini, I do mini albums. lol. I really need to use this machine a lot more.

I have a bind it all. I bought it gently used...looked pretty darn new to me! I've made a little notebook, the mini jotter from jessica sprague's class, punched out all my pages for ali edwards' december daily thingy. I've bound other things too. If I want the torn edge of a notebook look on a layout, I use the BIA then cut some of it so it looks like I tore it off a spiral book.
